| FAST TRACK TRAINEE SUPPORT PROJECT (ESF) | |
| URBAN funding has assisted with a trainee support project at Fast Track Trust which exists to enable people to make informed choices, overcome barriers and fulfil their potential through access to training and to participate more fully in the wider economy.
Aimed at URBAN area residents who include single parents and ethnic minorities, the project was designed to provide advice, encouragement, mentoring and support to URBAN area residents in order to help them to access vocational training. Fast Track Trust has additionally supported students through assistance with access costs such as materials, public transport costs and childcare. The project also works closely with other funders and all local training providers. This project finished on 31st December 2000. Fast Track has been a very succesful project providing guidance and advice, training and mentoring support to 110 people. "Fulfilling your greater potential with Fast Track support"
